I picked this one to remaster next because I'm keen to get my Heroes DVDs out of the house. (Since I have Netflix and Hulu now, I'm downsizing my collection a lot, and there's no way I was keeping those.) Going over it again actually settled a lot of my negative lingering feelings about the source material - turns out I still have a lot of positive emotions about these two and their dorktastic adventures.

Greetings all! I aten't dead, I've just been having trouble with my modem, and with the parental units visiting I couldn't keep scuttling across the road to the library. Luckily, my internet is all better in time for Heroes and The Sarah Jane Adventures. So while I wait for tonight's episode to finish *aheming*, belated commentary on last week.

( I knew I should've paid more attention in Chemistry class ... )

I have found the perfect way to get several days off from a crappy call centre job: lose your voice. I had to drag myself to the doctor to get a medical certificate for record keeping purposes, but when they heard me on the phone nobody was bothered that I wasn't coming in *g*.

I don't feel anything like as bad as I sound, so I have had a pretty productive day of vidding. While the illness is mild, I feel that I am in severe danger of dying from cute. (No prizes for guessing who the vid is about ...)

There are a couple of things I have noticed while scrubbing through the whole season for clips.

I was up way too early watching this. Anything spoilery you want to rec me in the comments - fanfic, vids, adorable stories about the cast - is now welcome!

Now, where was I last night? Oh, yes, that's right: OH MY GOD!

You know what's really annoying? Finding out ten minutes before the end of an episode that your download went wrong and having to wait several hours to see the rest.

I agree with Selena: not necessarily my favourite episode, but the best so far. This is where Heroes really stretches itself.

They should have just called this episode Slash!
